The weightlifting course will get you a solid technical basis. After the course, or if you’re already experienced, you can do your own training on the platform.
The course consists 9 classes of 1 hour: a course for beginners.
You will learn all basic techniques and derivatives of Olympic weightlifting.
You will learn many extra exercises that can be useful in sport specific or personal training programs.
Please note: you should be able to lift a barbell (at least 10 kg) above your head.
Every course will end with a weightlifting ‘intro’ competition night.

My weightlifting career started right here at USC in the beginners course. From the first moment, it felt like a sport that would be both challenging and fun. Now, I teach the weighlifting course and also work at the front desk at USC Universum. As a teacher, I hope to make the sport even more popular at USC and create a community of weighlifters.
If you already have some experience with weightlifting, you can work out individually at our weighlifting platform at Universum and ASC.
