In contemporary dance you dance barefoot. It is part of the many dance styles the USC offers. Enjoy the 9 week course at Universum!
Course of 9 weeks, 75 minutes per class. At both beginners and intermediate level.
In the beginners course you’ll learn different choreographies, varying in style/dynamics/music.
In the intermediate course you’ll learn more complicated choreographies, varying in style/dynamics/music.
The basic movements are considered known in the intermediate course.
Laura Hoekstra graduated from the ‘Hogeschool voor de Kunsten’. She specialized in jazzdance, but after her studies she focused more on other styles, like contemporary dance. She danced with the Zenga muziektheater, the Holland showballet, Rob List, M-lab muziektheater and lot’s of other productions. She even produced her own children’s show: ‘de Muziekdoos’.
Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move easily. You will dance bare footed with Laura.
