Type: Martial arts
In the USC self defence for women course you learn to react effectively in threatening situations.
A course of 9 classes of 1 hour.
You discover your own power and learn to recognize threats in time.
You work on increasing your self-confidence, and you’ll overcome fear and panic.
Only for women!
Self-defence training is specifically designed to empower women — both mentally and physically. You’ll learn not only how to set boundaries and handle difficult or threatening situations, but also how to use your posture and voice to project strength and confidence.
What’s the difference with the course Resilience for women? Resilience focuses primarily on physical techniques to protect yourself when absolutely necessary. Self-defence training is broader: it starts with preventing, recognizing, and responding to situations before they escalate.
In short: it’s not a martial arts class, but a boost for your self-confidence and safety — in any situation.
Maarten is the instructor for the USC self defence for women course. He has a lot of experience as krav maga instructor. He’s also a certified Stay Away instructor.
