Haedong Kumdo is a Korean swordsmanship. At the USC trainings, you will mainly practice with two swords. But you will also learn a lot with one: sparring, combinations, and even cutting paper!
At Haedong Kumdo, the single and double sword play a very important role.
There are training sessions at different levels.
Work your way up from the white, all the way to the black belt!
You will practice the style Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu.

There are trainings at multiple levels.
Dominic den Drijver is specialized in both Korean sword fighting and archery. Dominic owns the 2nd Dan and a instruction licence. He is also secretary of the Dutch Haedong Kumdo Association and Dutch Representative of the United World Haedong Kumdo Federation.
A T-shirt and comfortable shorts are totally fine for the first classes. If you want to continue practicing Haedong Kumdo, a Dobok is necessary. From the yellow belt onwards, you also need a membership at the Dutch Haedong Kumdo Association.
USC has a couple of wooden swords, but if you want to continue in Kumdo you might want to get your own wooden sword, sheath, and bag.
Are you a sports fanatic? Are you interested in various sports? The USC passe-partout is the right thing for you! This membership comprises a whole lot of different sports. Kumdo is part of the passe-partout.

First payment: pro-rata
When purchasing a martial arts year or martial arts flex you’ll pay a pro rata amount.
Subsequently, in the first week of every month, a term will be collected by direct debit.

Canceling is simple
Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, or cancel your membership in My USC. Your membership will expire on the last day of that month.*
*If you cancel a flex membership in the same month as you purchased it, the membership will end on the last day of the following month. This means that there is always at least one monthly debit via direct debit before a flex subscription expires.
