In this 9-week dance course at USC Amstelcampus, you’ll learn the basics of K-pop.
Course of 9 weeks, 75 minutes per class: a course for beginners
K-pop is Korean pop music that is known for its dance routines.
In this course you’ll learn and perform real k-pop choreographies, and you’ll make a professional K-pop cover video.
This course is taught by Fleur Philipsen. She studies dance in Utrecht and is trained in both the technical side of dance, as well als the underground side.
From when she was a teen, Fleur has been crazy about K-pop. She loves the outspoken choreographoes, the music and the concepts of the genre. Online, she found others who were also into K-pop. Now, Fleur is the ‘dance captain’ of the biggest Dutch K-pop cover group called The Miso Zone. They are known for their K-pop covers on YouTube and do performances, host events, and give workshops.
Wear a comfortable outfit in which you can move easily.
