News: adjustment to the competition format! ⚽

More exciting games at your own level! That is what the small adjustment in the competition format will ensure. There will still be 2 competitions that start in September and January. But from this season on, with an extra split in both competition halves. After 7 games, the top 4 play each other again, and the bottom 4 teams will do that too. This is how every game will feel – as all football players boringly claim in their interviews – like a final! ;-)

Futsal competition at USC

2 competitions per year. Start 1st: 5 September 2023 / 2nd: January 2024.
Your team plays 10 games per competition (20 per year).
All weekly games will be played from Tuesday until Friday night at sportcentrum Universum.
More than 100 teams play in multiple divisions, in poules for women or men.

Futsal games

  • Games last 2 x 20 minutes with a 1 to 2 minute break.
  • Each “home game” (if your team is listed first on the schedule) your team will be the referee at a different game on that same night. A referee course is given at the beginning of each competition.
  • All matches are played on weekday evenings at Universum sports center (Science Park 306, Amsterdam).
  • The playing schedule normally is;

Tuesday, 17.45 – 23.15, 14 games
Wednesday, 20.30 – 23.30, 7 games
Thursday, 21.00 – 23.30, 5 games
Friday, 17:45 – 23:15, 14 games

  • You do not pay any team subscription fees. Each player has to purchase a futsal membership.
  • Each team has at least 8 players with a futsal membership. Teams that do not meet the 8-player requirement can be removed from the competition or supplemented with individual registrations. If your team has not enough players, please send an email to the competition management.

Student League

No team, but would you like to play futsal? Sign up individually for the Student League and end up with new futsal friends (m/f)!

  • Ideal if you’re new in Amsterdam and you can’t come up with a whole team out of nowhere.
  • A period of 10 weeks, with weekly trainings and games on Tuesday and Friday evening in Universum.
  • Please note! The Student League is really student only.

  • Every player has to purchase the individual futsal membership at the Universum front desk.
  • Every team should have at least 8 players with a membership.
