Cheerleading is a sport for both men and women, that mixes dancing and human pyramids!
Beginners course of 9 weeks, with 90-minute classes at Universum.
Experience the thrill of flying and being part of a trustworthy team.
No previous experience is needed. We learn everything from the basics.
Already a little experience? Join the USC team of University Cheerleading Amsterdam (UCA)!
Practice two times a week with UCA and compete at the Dutch National Cheerleading Championship!

Cheerleading at USC is taught by Donya.
Donya Danesh, a Canadian cheerleading coach, brings her extensive experience to USC. After years of cheering at Brock University in Canada, she moved to Amsterdam and felt the urge to reintroduce cheerleading into her life. In 2023, she began coaching at USC, leading the team to a second-place finish at their first National Competition in the Netherlands. Her goal is to continue being a part of the cheerleading community and promote knowledge and awareness about this exciting sport.

Join UCA and become part of the cheerleading family!
Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move easily and flexibly. Make sure to have a change of clean and comfortable sneakers to use inside the gym, and always have your hair tied.
