We have an indoor boulder gym and an outdoor boulder at Universum. The outdoor boulder is publicly accessible. With a bouldering membership and a reservation you can use the indoor boulder gym. No experience or improve your skills? Join a bouldering course first!
Which membership do you choose?
BOULDERING YEAR you’re stuck with us for a year, after which you can cancel your membership monthly.
BOULDERING FLEX a little more expensive but a lot more flexible, this membership can be canceled monthly from scratch.
BOULDERING 10x 10x entry to the boulder gym, to be used within one year.
BOULDERING 1x 1x entry to the climbing gym, valid one week.
Reservations and checking in
You need a reservation for every visit to USC, except for courses.
Make a reservation using the booking button above.
You can make a reservation 6 days in advance.
You can have 3 active reservations for the upcoming 6 days. But as soon as your first reservation is over, you can make a new one. So, you can work out more than 3x a week (if there are free spots)!
You can choose how you enter USC: by using the finger scan or by using the My USC Amsterdam app. Download the app: Android and iOS.
Take a safe and conscious approach to bouldering. Keep enough distance (1.50m) between each other. Take care with the poles. Spot each other to catch an uncontrolled fall.
Bouldering is only allowed with a valid climbing/bouldering membership.
Bouldering is only allowed with clean climbing shoes.
Bouldering shirtless is not allowed.
Do not chalk too much and don’t put chalk bags on the mat.
Bouldering with bare feet is not allowed.
Take off jewelry.
House rules outdoor boulder
The outdoor boulder is publicly accessible.
Bouldering is at your own risk.
There are injury risks. Take a safe and conscious approach.
Spot each other to catch an uncontrolled fall. Consider to use a crash pad.
Watch out for spinning holds. Loose hold? Ask for a tool in the sports centre.
The gravel softens the landing, but prevent an uncontrolled fall.
Make sure the landing zone is free of objects.
Keep enough distance (1.50m) between each other.
The use of climbing shoes is recommended.
Warm up before each session. Start slowly.
Take enough rest during bouldering.
Do a cooling down at the end of your session.
It’s forbidden to climb on top of the boulder.
The boulder is not a playground for children.

First payment: pro rata When purchasing a bouldering year or flex membership, you’ll pay a pro rata amount.
Direct debit
Subsequently, in the first week of every month, a term will be collected by direct debit.
Canceling is simple Send an e-mail to usc@uscsport.nl, or cancel your membership in My USC. Your membership will expire on the last day of that month.
