Association sports

For athletics, USC works in partnership with the student sports club A.S.A.V. Aquila.

USC also takes part in the Dam tot Damloop every year! As part of a team from the UvA, HvA or ROC, you’ll run the 16.1 km route from Amsterdam to Zaandam. We’ll sort out your starting place, team shirt and post-race refreshments. And with the free training sessions, you’ll be fully prepared when you line up at the start.

For badminton, USC works in partnership with the student sports club US Badminton. Training sessions take place at the USC venues Universum and Amstelcampus.

For board sports, USC works in partnership with the student sports club D.E.R.M.. Activities include surfing in Zandvoort and snowboarding at SnowWorld.

Gymnastic jumps, human pyramids and cool dance moves. USC is partnering with the student sports club UCA for cheerleading!

Train twice a week in the gym at USC’s Amstelcampus site and experience the thrill of flying through the air. At UCA, you’ll become part of a close-knit team.

For handball, USC works in partnership with the student sports club US Handbal. Training sessions take place at the USC Amstelcampus site.

For ice hockey, USC works in partnership with the student sports club S.IJ.V.A. Thor.

For korfball, USC works in partnership with the student sports club S.K.V. Amsterdam.

For lacrosse, USC works in partnership with the Amsterdam Lions student sports club.

For horse riding, USC works in partnership with the student sports clubs A.S.R. H.O.R.S. and A.S.R. BLOK. Both clubs ride at the Hollandsche Manage, next to the Vondelpark.

For dance, USC collaborates with the student dance society S.D.V. AmsterDance. There are weekly workshops at USC covering almost every dance style: from high heels to the Argentine tango.

For rowing, USC works in partnership with the student sports club A.A.S.R. Skøll (and R.S.V.U. Okeanos).

For rugby, USC works in partnership with two student sports clubs: A.S.R.V. Ascrum and AMC Rugby. Both clubs train at Sportpark De Eendracht in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

For ice skating, USC works in partnership with the student sports club A.S.S.W.S.V. SKITS. In the summer, you can also choose to go inline skating (as well as cycling).

For gymnastics, USC works in partnership with the student sports club STAH.

For Ultimate Frisbee, USC works in partnership with the student Frisbee club NUTS. A beginners’ course, training sessions, competitions and a great atmosphere. You’ll find it all at NUTS!

For volleyball, USC works in partnership with the student volleyball club UvO Amsterdam (and SVU Volleybal). Training sessions take place at the USC Universum venue.

For water polo, the USC works in partnership with the student water polo club JAWS. There are training sessions, tournaments, student competitions and, above all, lots of fun.

For sailing, USC works in partnership with the student sports club A.S.Z.V. Orionis. Here you’ll find training courses, instruction and, above all, plenty of drinks and a great atmosphere.
