Futsal

• Matches last 2 x 20 minutes with a break of 1 to 2 minutes.
• For every ‘home match’ (where your team is listed first on the fixture list), your team will referee another match on the same evening. At the start of each season, a 30-minute refereeing course is held, which is compulsory for new teams.
• All matches are played on weekday evenings at the Universum sports centre (Science Park 306, Amsterdam).
• The match times are normally:

Tuesday, 5.45 pm – 11.15 pm, 14 matches
Wednesday, 8.30 pm – 11.30 pm, 7 matches
Thursday, 9.00 pm – 11.30 pm, 5 matches
Friday, 5.45 pm – 11.15 pm, 14 matches

• There is no registration fee for the team. Each player must purchase their own indoor football season ticket.
• Each team must consist of at least 8 players with an indoor football season ticket. Teams that do not meet the 8-player requirement may be withdrawn from the league or supplemented with individual registrations. If your team is short of players, please send an email to the league organisers.

Don’t have a team, but would you still like to play five-a-side football? Sign up individually for the Student League and make new five-a-side football friends (men and women)!

• Ideal if you’re new to Amsterdam and can’t put a team together straight away.
• A 10-week programme, with weekly training sessions and matches on Tuesday and Friday evenings at Universum.
• Please note! The Student League is strictly for students only.

Exciting matches at your own level! You and your team will play in two leagues, which start in September and January. There is an extra split in both halves of the league season. After seven matches, the top four teams face each other again, as do the bottom four. That way, every match feels – just as all the pros say in their interviews – like a final!
