Try a new martial art at USC!

This two-hour Wushu workshop is designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Participation in the event costs €5 for category 1 members and €7 for category 2 and 3 members. Sign up via our webshop.

What is Wushu?

Wushu, better known as Kung Fu, is a Chinese martial arts discipline practiced in both traditional and modern styles. It is a practice that requires both physical and mental strength, with a focus on flexibility, balance, agility, and coordination. Wushu is not only a sport but also a unique expression of Chinese culture and values, offering students an opportunity to connect with both the physical and philosophical aspects of martial arts.

About the Teacher

Dan Mihai Radulescu’s dedication to Wushu began in 2010. He competed at the National Championships in traditional Shaolin Kung Fu, where he won his first gold medal. Over the years, he has steadily advanced in the sport, achieving success at both local and international competitions. Key highlights of his career include three bronze medals at the European Shaolin Culture Festival in 2014, a gold world title at the 7th World Kungfu Traditional Championships in 2017, and four gold medals at the 12th Zhengzhou China International Shaolin Wushu Festival in 2018. In 2018, Dan expanded his expertise by training in modern Wushu, competing in events like the 15th World Wushu Championships in 2019.
