SSA

The Amsterdam Student Sports Foundation (SSA) represents the interests of students who play sport in Amsterdam and is the umbrella organisation for Amsterdam’s student sports associations.

USC Universum Amsterdam

The Board

The SSA board consists of sporty students who want to contribute to student sport in Amsterdam alongside their studies. Does this sound like something you’d be interested in, or would you like to contribute in another way (for example, by helping to organise events)? Do feel free to email SSA!

What does SSA do?

SSA is the umbrella organisation for Amsterdam’s student sports associations and provides them with financial and policy support. SSA also organises Amsterdam’s delegation to major national and international sporting events such as the Batavierenrace and the Dutch National Students’ Championships (GNSK). SSA also organises its own events, such as the Oliebollen Futsal Tournament and the Amsterdam Student Sports Gala.

Why do you turn to SSA?

Do you have any questions, comments, complaints or suggestions regarding student sport in general, the student sports clubs or (the range of sports on offer at) USC? Would you like to register for the Batavierenrace, take part in an SSA event or the GNSK? Or would you like to organise a Dutch Students’ Championship (NSK) or another student sports event yourself? You can contact SSA for this.

USC

SSA has close ties with USC. If you have any questions, suggestions, complaints or comments regarding USC, you are always welcome to contact SSA.
