No more mandatory reservations for fitness

Fitness reservations USC

1500 (!) of you guys recently filled out our poll. 60% of you told us: get rid of those mandatory reservations for fitness. And so that’s what we’re going to do. Keep reading to find out what we’re planning when, and how we see the future.

No more reservation needed for fitness

  • As of next Monday 9 May, you no longer need a reservation to work out individually in a USC gym. So no more time slots, you just walk in – with your finger scan or app – whenever you like.
  • Until Sunday 8 May you have to book a time slot like you are used to now. This means the no show fee also applies until 8 May.

Only for fitness

Mandatory reservations will only be cut for your individual training in the fitness, for which you now book a time slot. Reservations are still mandatory for all other sports and all group classes. This also applies to the classes in the gyms, such as synrgy, abs and fitness circuit. You still need a reservation for such classes.

How about the future?

If things get too cozy in our gyms in the future – or if the government forces us to – it could be that mandatory reservations return. But, we will improve our system:

  • You will soon be able to book, cancel and shop with the USC app on your phone! That makes everything a lot easier.
  • We will make sure that you can always book on site and get in immediately if there are free spots. Now you sometimes had to wait when the time slot had already started.
